Saturday 26th July:
Holwell Sports BC entertained Sileby BC at Welby Road, coming out with a resounding win, by 73 shots to 49. The sky was overcast with a light drizzle at the start of the match, but this soon cleared into a warm, sunny afternoon. The match was played over 3 triples games and 1 rinks game, with HSBC being victorious in 3 but losing one of the triples. As Sileby BC were short of players for the match, HSBC loaned two players, Eddie Pearson and Angelo Grillo, to their ranks. The Top Rink award was won on Fred Thorpe's rink.

Saturday 12th July:
On a very hot afternoon, Holwell Sports BC played away at Oakham BC, over a 5 triples rinks match. A full match of 18 ends was played with players agreeing after 9 ends to continue with the scheduled number of ends. HSBC won on 3 rinks, with 1 rink drawn and OBC winning on 1 rink. The final match shots score was a comfortable win for HSBC by 88 shots to 64. The Top Rink award was won on Dennis Hopkinson's rink.

Saturday 5th July:
Another disappointing home defeat for this Saturday Friendly fixture against St James Park BC. The match was played over 4 triples games of which HSBC won 1, drew 1 and lost 2. The total match shots score was very close at HSBC 59 to SJPBC 62. The Top Rink award was won on Dennis Hopkinson's rink.

Saturday 28th June:
Another double defeat this season for Holwell Sports Bowls Club, inflicted by Birstall Bowls Club. Playing at Birstall BC, on a very hot afternoon, the match was played over 4 rinks games reduced to 15 ends for health safety concerns. BBC won on all four rinks, with a final match shots score of Holwell Sports BC 35 to BBC's 73.

Saturday 14th June:
On a warm, but breezy, afternoon, Market Overton Bowls Club completed a further success over Holwell Sports Bowls Club. On another fast running green, the match was played over 4 triples rinks of which MOBC won 3 to HSBC 1. The final match shots score was HSBC 53 - MOBC 73. The Top Rink award was won on Evelyn Underwood's rink.
