President Bob Penny's Tour 2024

Our Scenery and Seaside Tour to Essex and Suffolk, in September 2024, hosted by President Bob Penny, was a great success on a number of levels. We had a group of 43 tourists, and we attracted several new tourists from our and other Clubs. The group was a great combination with many memorable moments.
We made new friends at the host clubs of Braintree, Colchester West End, Felixstowe and Frinton. We played 4 games and won 3. Our one loss was to Felixstowe and Suffolk BC (this year's National winners of the Tony Alcock Trophy). We played on excellent greens and experienced wonderful hospitality.
During the tour we raised £169 for the Air Ambulance and £185 for RNLI 200th Anniversary.
