Triples League
Wednesday 23rd July:
The return, away match, played against Market Overton BC produced the same League match points score as before, but with a significantly higher margin of defeat with the total shots score. Of the three rinks, HSBC won 1 with MOBC winning 2, giving a total shots score of HSBC 37 to MOBC 81. The League match points scored were HSBC 2 to MOBC 8.
The 2 rinks lost were by dissapointingly high margins; the rink won was a see-saw game, with a score of 12-1 to HSBC after 6 ends being pegged back to 13-13 after 12 ends, concluding by winning 20-18 with 3 shots scored on the last end.

Wednesday 16th July:
The return Melton & District Triples League match against Belvoir Vale BC played at Welby Road, was an even closer game that last week but, unfortunately for Holwell Sports BC, with a reverse of the match points scored. Two rinks were won by BVBC and one by HSBC. This gave an overall match shots score of HSBC 46 to BVBC 48, with an overall match points score of HSBC 2 to BVBC 8.
Rink scores: Peter Farrow, Claire Cregan & Bob Penny v B Birch 24 - 11; Byron James, Evelyn Underwood & Eric Faulconbridge v L Pugh 13 - 18; Anne Spaulding, Dennis Hopkinson & Fred Thorpe v S Gant 9 - 19.
Wednesday 9th July
The second match for Holwell Sports BC in this seasons Melton & District Triples League, away against Belvoir Vale BC, ended with a close overall score which gave HSBC a winning total match points score of 8 - 2. HSBC won on 2 rinks with BVBC winning on 1, giving a total match shots score of HSBC 54 to BVBC 51.

Wednesday, 7th May
We played our first game in the Melton & District Triples League on a very cold evening at home against a strong Market Overton BC team. From the 3 rinks played, HSBC won 1 and MOBC won 2, giving a final shot score of HSBC 41 to MOBC 50. The League match points scored were HSBC 2 to MOBC 8.
